I’m getting very fond of this bag design. No doubt they will be coming in all sorts of colour ways over the next months.

This version is made from a beautiful heavy weight grey linen with pistachio, old lime, green floral print. The fabric design is Inari by Roma. The contrast pocket and straps are a beautifully coordinated suedette in the same, whatever colour green, you may like to call it. There is a divided bellow style pocket on the front fastened with two antique brass effect magnetic poppers. The exterior of the bag closes with a zip fastening.

The inside is a cheerful cotton stripe and has a zipped pocket. There is added padding in the form of thermo fleece to add extra body and support.

The bag measures 35cm at widest by 25cm high and 9cm deep. The shoulder strap is 117cm long, ample length to wear the bag cross body fashion.

This lovely little kit contains all you need to make your own owl, just add stuffing and thread! There is a generous helping of fabric to make a medium sized owl, a pair of glass eyes and ample ultrasuede for his pupils, a length of embroidery floss for his beak and a hardboard base disk. There are detailed photo illustrated instructions. This simple design only uses two seams which can be hand or machine sewn and a little bit of simple hand sewing making if perfect for youngsters to try.

Your finished Owl will measure approx 8 cm x 8 cm

The kits come in purple and lime green or Natural Tweedy. If you get hooked and want to create your own Parliament of Owls I can supply more components.

Classic 1950′s style handbag in lime green and pink check. I haven’t made one of these since I bought my new machine, it made it so much easier and professional. I love this style of bag and its timeless grace, perfect on your arm at a wedding or garden party or down the high street with that vintage little dress. I shall be making one of these for when I go to Goodwood Revival this September. The pattern is copied off a vintage original and boasts lovely twist lock fastening with clever spring locking (Just press the outer ring and the button flips round and locks by itself!), smart nickel square handle rings, handy internal zippered pocket and a beautiful cotton floral lining.

The front has an envelope pocket big enough for all those vital travel documents that you have to keep to hand and fastens with a magnetic stud on a matching strap tab for one handed use and peace of mind. The top has a chunky nylon zip with handy pulls. All the corners are reinforced with contrasting panels and there are 6 brass stud feet underneath to prevent wear and tear.

The handles are rolled leather and the sturdy self fabric shoulder strap is adjustable by the slider and fastens to the bag with stylish rectangular rings.

Inside the bag is padded to all sides with compressed fleece and has a reinforced bottom panel all lined with beautiful designer cotton fabric. There is a zipped inner pocket and 2 divided pockets.
