This little family of owls are so cute. Made from super soft brushed cotton flannel they are very cuddly. Each has glass boot button eyes and hand embroidered beaks and sits on a sturdy round base. The owls are stuffed with quality polyester toy stuffing. Please note these owls are not weighted like some of my other owls as the weighting media shows through the fabric. They make ideal Nursery ornaments. I can make owls to your colour choice so drop me a line.

Back to bears! I just have to make one once in a while. This little chap is made from a lovely flannel cotton in antique sepia ‘tea stain’ with two tones of irregular blue stripes. His eyes are my trade mark button featuring stitch detailing. The same buttons are used on his joints. His nose is threadbare cotton perle. He is stuffed with quality polyester toy stuffing with a little lavender added for a pleasant scent when squeezed.

Stargazey mouse looks longingly up at the moon and wonders if it really is made of cheese?

By popular demand I have produced a little mouse using the same techniques and quality materials as my other critters. This adorable little mouse is made in shades of tweed and cream quality fabric remnants, she has adorable little ulrasuede ears, tiny little boot button eyes and nose, a leather thong tail and cotton whiskers. Just like her friends the Hedgehogs and owls she stands on a sturdy fabric covered disk and is filled with quality toy stuffing and as she is quite small she is weighted making her an ideal paper weight.

I love the play on words with these giant doorstop mice. They are made from the same pattern as their little cousins but they are definitely in a league of their own. Standing around 10 inches (25cm) tall and 6 inches in diameter, they are stuffed with quality toy stuffing and a carbon bead for weight, wax cotton whiskers, ultrasuede ears and glass boot button eyes and nose complete the look. They weigh in at around 2 1/2lb (1.1kg) so are practical as well as beautiful.

This is Baby Hedge, with her best friend Stargazey Mouse.
She is a perfectly 3/4 scale model of her older sister, her fur is a little shorter but the same beautiful quality gel tipped mohair. She has ultrasuede ears peeping out of her fur and tiny little black boot button glass eyes. Her tummy is a quality tweedy brown embroidered fabric remnant and she sits on a neat little fabric covered base. Baby Hedge is stuffed with quality toy stuffing and a carbon bead weight.

These are the latest addition to my Christmas range. Im calling them ‘Rustic Robins’ as they have a hopsack look about them. Three styles are on offer Red heads, Plain heads and Shaggy (inside out). Please indicate your preferred bird from the drop down box above. Each bird has a delightful raffia bow and jingle bell perched on his tail, hand embroidered eyes and little bent wire toes.

Its never too early to start thinking about Christmas and these little guys are all ready for the festive season. Made to the same standards as my ornamental owls these little fellows have synthetic mohair chests and red cotton twill bodies. They are weighted with carbon rod pellets and have lavender for scent. They have darling little fur trimmed hats with a jingle bell. Each has an individual expression created with ultrasuede eye patches and boot button glass eyes.

This is a collaboration of my birds added to a home grown willow wreath, expertly woven (incredibly fast) by my good friend Alison of Foxtwood Cottages who also taught me how to tie a proper bow (how did I get to 48 without knowing this?)
