Floral Transfer Techniques
Learn this simple but very effective method of ‘printing’ real flowers onto fabric or paper, experiment with different flowers and foliage and add freehand machine embroidery. Suitable for all levels of ability and no sewing experience required. You will complete a simple design for a card or picture. All materials supplied but feel free to bring along any materials of your own. Enjoy a day in my studio with all materials to hand, as numbers are limited you are ensured a great deal of one to one attention.
Price £40 per person to include refreshments and all materials. Full day course 10:30 ’til 4:00 pm
Chenille Cushion Creation
Create a stunning faux chenille fabric 18″ cushion with a motif of your own design. Includes cushion construction tuition, feather pad and choice of fabrics from my stash. They’re will be a £10 materials charge for this course due to the large amounts of fabric used, the more you use the better it looks!
Price £40 plus optional materials charge of £10 if desired. Includes refreshments. Full Day course
Critter Creations: Make you own owl, mouse or hedgehog. One simple pattern and basic sewing skills makes any or all of these delightful chaps. A leisurely half day course, (time enough to make 2) or 2 hour course. All materials included. Please note that mohair fabrics if used for a hedgehog will attract an extra charge as they are very expensive.

Learn to Love your Machine
Got a sewing machine that’s never been out the box? Been left a much loved older style machine that you cannot fathom? Providing you think its in good mechanical or electrical order (there are limits to my skills!) and you can carry it in to the studio I should be able to get you up and running. Learn about basic operation, stitches, needles,threads and feet. Leisurely half day or 2 hour 1-1 course.
Price £20 including light refreshments.
Dressmaking for beginners.
Learn how to use a pattern,choose the right fabrics for the style, interfacing, notions, buttonholes all explained.
Rolling course, £10 for 2 hour minimum sessions or full day course depending on garment choice.
